Nainggolan: “If the conditions were right, I would return to Roma”.

Former Roma and current Cagliari midfielder appeared on Instagram today with Damiano Coccia “Er Faina” and discussed his departure from the Giallorossi.

The Belgian admitted, though, that he’d be open to a return to the Italian capital.

“I left Roma to keep my self-respect. Someone there did things without my knowledge — and because of who I am, I couldn’t even look him in the face anymore,” he said.

“Would I return to Roma? Yes, to Roma…yes. If the conditions were right, I’d return. I experienced wonderful years there and it’s a place I love – and they love me – and a place where I gave everything”.

“I miss everything about Rome. I recently re-watched the match against Barcelona. I still get shivers. It was so natural for me in Rome that I miss it. Let’s see. The door is always open”.
