You are flying both the league and in Europe.
I believe that the positive results always bring more positive results. We are in a great moment of form and we must try to continue like this. I’m happy with how I’m playing and how the team is playing. I always have to. thank my teammates because for me the important thing is that the team wins.
How important is the work of Spalletti?
I think we have a great manager, he knows exactly what he wants from the players. He always says what is on his mind and I think the team is doing a great job of following him and all that he says. We’ll enjoy these results and hope to continue this way for awhile.
You recently won 4-0 at Villarreal in the UEFA Europa League. Were you surprised by such a result?
No, we did not expect such a result against Villarreal at their home because in recent years they have always achieved great results in Europe. But this is football, we played well, I do not think it was our best match but we capitalized on every opportunity. It was a great result and after a 4-0 away victory in the first leg. Maybe we were thinking about the tough matches awaiting us in the league and Coppa ITalia. In the end, we qualified and it was the only thing that mattered.
What are the most realistic goals for this season?
We are still in the running in three competitions, we can still win three trophies. Right now, we are focused on the league. Are we the Favorites in the Coppa Itali? Honestly, being favored is always difficult, there is more pressure. But we are a good team and we have to have certainty about our quality. If we play our football I think we can beat anyone.
