What didn’t work with Roma in the last few months?
I’m worried about the present so I’d like to not talk too much about Roma, but I think about how the story with Roma ended – it could have finished differently. I don’t want to say more than that, I’m happy to be here, I feel the trust, they all called me during the negotiations. Having confidence in a player is important, I hope to repay the club on the pitch.
Have you been close to joining Inter in the past?
In the past I have been contacted but there were no possibilities on either side. But now I have arrived and I will enjoy the moment to the maximum. I am glad to reunite with Spalletti.
