As they say, there’s more to add insult to injury in a night that saw the reigning Serie A champions defeated at the hands of Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

After the painful defeat one the grounds of the Stadio Olimpico, Napoli head coach Walter Mazzarri was even forced to return home alone.

According to La Repubblica, the Italian technician did not leave by bus with the team and was forced to use a 2-hour taxi ride to return to the Naples all the way from the Italian capital.

Mazzarri had been held back for a long time for post-match interviews, in which he explained that in his opinion his team deserved to win, and therefore missed the club bus which left without him. A real bad evening for Mazzarri, who was recalled a month ago by De Laurentiis and in eight games he achieved only three victories.
