First choice Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani has been ruled out for the next 4-5 weeks and will miss out when his side faces Roma in the Italian capital later this month.
The 28 year-old was subbed off in the second half of the Partenopei’s 4-1 win against Cremonese on Sunday after he appeared to tweak his left hamstring.
He underwent follow-up scans earlier today which confirmed the presence of a strain of the tendons in his left thigh. As a result, he’ll be out of action for the next month.
Rrahmani has appeared in 11 matches across all competitions so far this season and is likely to be replaced by former Roma man Juan Jesus.
