Roma are eyeing the return of Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo. However, the capital club are not the only ones interested in the Neroverdi midfielder.
As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli had inquired about Frattesi in recent weeks and can now be considered Roma’s main competition for the talented 22-year-old.
Initially, the Partenopei were thinking of making a bid for Frattesi in June 2023, but given Roma’s concrete interest in the player, Napoli could anticipate talks with Sassuolo already in January.
In the meantime, Roma are thinking of including the likes of Edoardo Bove and Cristian Volpato in an eventual deal for Frattesi.
