Napoli have reportedly joined the race for Spanish striker Samu Omorodion of Atletico Madrid.

Omorodion recently concluded his loan at Alaves and is looking to confirm his place as a starting option.

His chanaces of doing that at Atletico Madrid appear to be slim at the moment and therefore his entourage have been shopping him around Europe.

Omorodion seems to have drawn the most interest in Italy.

Roma and Napoli have made contact with the player’s agent.

At the moment, Napoli seem to be leading the race, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport.

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is said to be in direct contact with Omorodion’s agents.

Atletico Madrid’s asking price amounts to €30 million.
