Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli held a press conference today during the Partenopei’s preseason and addressed the situation involving striker Arkadiusz Milik, who has only one-year left on his contract and has been heavily linked to a potential move to Roma.
“This transfer window is difficult but we have an important team made up of many players whose value remains important, such as Milik,” said Giuntoli.
”Even though his contract is expiring next June, he still has a very important value, strikers hold their value. We have no worries, the squad is large, it is difficult but we are calm. The market has yet to start. Until everyone returns from national team duty, it’s not possible to talk to certain players”.
