Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli appeared today on DAZN just before the start of the Partenopei’s match against Parma.
He was asked about the situation involving striker Arek Milik, who is closing in a move to Roma, however, some minor difficulties have been encountered between the two clubs.
“Milik? There’s a negotiation with Roma,” he explained.
“However, it has not yet reached a successful conclusion. We’ll see in the next few days”.
The Giallorossi have been pursuing the Polish international, who only has one year left on his deal with Napoli, throughout the last two weeks.
Milik has already undergone his medical examinations with Roma but Napoli continue to request that the player pays an unpaid fine from last year.
The club fined Milik for “unauthorised publicity” after he used his image to advertise for a restaurant that he himself owns.
