Napoli to meet with Politano’s agent

After nearly becoming a Roma player just days ago, Napoli are pressing to acquire to Inter’s Matteo Politano. Nicolò Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will meet with Davide Lippi, the agent of Politano, in the next few hours.

Napoli already has an agreement in place with the Nerazzurri on a fee for the attacker but they’re still waiting on him to accept the Partenopei as he continues to wait on Roma. The parties will meet in Milano as Gattuso’s side will try and convince Politano to join despite his preference being joining his boyhood club the Giallorossi.
