Roma are seriously eyeing Austrian midfielder Diego Demme who is likely to depart from Napoli in this year’s summer window after failing to impress Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti.
The player, as reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla’, is a concrete opportunity for Roma who are looking to reinforce their midfield.
Demme could represent an additional reinforcement alongside Davide Frattesi of Sassuolo, as Roma enter their fifth consecutive week of negotiations with the Neroverdi.
Although Demme’s contract is set to expire in 2024, Napoli are not expected to put up a fight over his exit.
