Napoli manager Francesco Calzona expressed his disappointment at how his team conceded a late equalizer to Roma.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Calzona said, “We made mistakes in two episodes: we knew their strength on set-pieces and I specifically added a defender. It wasn’t enough, I don’t know what to say. I am happy with my team’s performance, we showed pride and quality.”
“I’m bitter tonight. We put in a good performance and I’m happy, but if you don’t win it’s difficult. We look game after game, first at us and then at our opponents. We put in a great performance. We have to continue like this.”
“Tonight we deserved to win and we didn’t allow too many opportunities to the most in-form team in the league.”
