Like Roma, Napoli and manager Gennaro Gattuso will be without some key pieces for this evening’s highly anticipated showdown between the two sides at the Stadio San Paolo.
Gattuso released his list of call-up’s early this afternoon and it was revealed that Nigerian international Victor Osimhen, who joined the club in the summer from Lille, is out for the clash against the Giallorossi. The news comes as a blow for the Partenopei, who will also be without midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko.
Meanwhile, Roma will be missing central defender Chris Smalling, who has been out for the previous two weeks due to a food poisoning and reoccurring soreness in his knee.
