Evan Ndicka spoke to television channels after the home draw against Atalanta to take stock of the situation at Roma.
The Giallorossi center-back emphasized how the team has remained immune to the controversies surrounding Gasperini and Ranieri over the past week, maintaining focus on the Champions League race.
Regarding the team’s mood after the 1-1 draw, Ndicka expressed confidence: “We’re calm. We wanted to win, but we played a good game against a good team. Tonight wasn’t easy; we were more dominant than Atalanta.”
“We want to do better, but we’re calm. What we did tonight is right; let’s keep going. We’ll win plenty of games until the end of the season.”
Regarding the off-field events and tensions that have rocked Trigoria in recent days: “We don’t think too much about these things; we’re very focused on the pitch. Our job is to play good football and win games, not to focus on what’s happening. We’re very focused, I see that in the team. If we continue like this, we can achieve great things this season.”
On his own physical condition: “For me, it’s a pleasure to play for Roma and play football; it’s not tiring. Training is tough, but it’s okay.”
