With Edin Dzeko expected to undergo his medical with Inter tomorrow afternoon, Roma are now pressing for Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.
According to Sky Sport, the Roman club continue to negotiate with the player’s entourage after reaching an agreement with Chelsea for the 23-year-old’s transfer.
Earlier today there has been direct contact between Mourinho and Abraham.
The young attacker has asked for time to think things over and the Roman club expect a response from him no later than Thursday – the day after tomorrow’s UEFA Super Cup clash against Villareal.
Arsenal are also in the race for the player but they will first need to sell the likes of Lacazette before bringing in a new attacker.
