Negotiations over Cristante’s renewal still on hold

Despite being praised by Mourinho in last night’s post-match press conference, Bryan Cristante’s future at Roma remains uncertain.

The Italian international has still two years left on his contract with the Giallorossi, but the club still have not properly addressed his agent’s requests for a renewal.

According to calciomercato.com, negotiations over Cristante’s renewal are on hold.

The player’s agent, Beppe Riso, is asking for a salary worth €3.5 million, whereas Cristante currently earns around €1.8 million.

Italian clubs including Milan and Juventus are monitoring the situation with keen interest.
