Nemanja Matic is set to join Stade Rennais on a permanent deal from Roma.
The Serbian midfielder has just boarded a flight to France from Rome -reports Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo – and will undergo his medical with Rennes in the coming hours.
Roma will earn a total of €3 million from Matic’s sale.
In the meantime, the capital club are finalizing the arrival of Leandro Paredes who will step in as Matic’s replacement.
