Nemanja Matic is reflecting on a proposal submitted by French side Rennes.
In recent days, the Serbian midfielder was approached by Rennes who offered him a three-year deal worth over €3 million per season, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Matic – who has a contract with Roma valid until 2024 – is considering this offer and thus leaving the capital club after only one year.
Roma, on the other hand, do not want to let him go this late in the transfer window. The club consider him a pivotal presence on an off the pitch for Jose Mourinho’s team.
The newspaper claims Roma would only consider Matic’s departure for a fee of no less than €8 million.
