Nemanja Matić has reportedly decided to cut his vacation short and fly back to Rome following a few days of rest after undergoing his club medical and signing his contract with the Giallorossi.
According to Il Tempo, Matić landed in the capital earlier today.
The Serbian midfielder wanted to anticipate his move to Rome and prepare himself for pre-season.
Therefore, the 33-year-old will be at Jose Mourinho’s disposal starting from next Tuesday, Roma’s official first day of pre-season.
