Roma are finalizing the signing of Nemanja Matić of Manchester United and are expected to complete the deal within the next few days, reports Corriere dello Sport.
The Giallorossi are now working on the final details that will allow the 33-year-old Serbian to reunite with Jose Mourinho in the Italian capital.
According to the Italian newspaper, Matić will undergo his medical with the capital club before the end of this week.
The player will also sign his contract which should bind him to Roma for at least a year, with an option for a second year based on certain criteria related to the number of appearances.
Matić is expected to earn similar wages to Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who is on his way out of the club – around €3.5 million.
