Nemanja Matić to undergo Roma medical on Monday

Earlier today, Manchester United officially announced the departure of six players including Nemanja Matić who as a free agent is set to join Roma.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Matić is expected to undergo his medical with the capital club on Monday.

The player will land in the capital early next week and subsequently sign his contract with the club: the contract will be for one year plus an option for a second year based on number of appearances made.

Nemanja Matić and goal-keeper Mile Svilar – who left Benfica as a free agent – will be Roma’s first signings of this summer transfer window.
