Igor Tudor held his inaugural press conference following his appointment as the manager of Lazio earlier this week. The 45 year-old was named the Biancocelesti’s new coach on Monday, officially replacing ex-Napoli, Chelsea, and Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri, who resigned from the position.
Asked about the team’s upcoming showdown against Roma, Tudor admitted he’s eager to experience the emotions of the Derby della Capitale.
“I haven’t talked to anyone about the Derby specifically yet, all games are the same for me,” he commented.
“Though, it’s normal there’s some talk regarding the match given it’s coming up shortly. Admittedly I’m eager to experience all the emotions surrounding this match. However, we’ve got to focus on the two difficult games we’ve got versus Juventus.”
