Roma target Yankuba Minteh may be harder to get than initially expected.

In recent days, Roma show a clear interest in Yankuba Minteh, the 20-year-old from Newcastle United who spent the last season on loan at Feyenoord.

This interest was confirmed also in England media.

The player, who collected 11 goals and 5 assists for Feyenoord last season, is inclined to leave Newcastle.

However, the Magpies have placed a very high pricetag on him, around €47 million, as reported by Chroniclelive.co.uk.

Minteh is also coveted by other European teams such as Borussia Dortmund, Lyon and Marseille, as well as the Giallorossi.

Everton, who hoped to include Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the negotiations, withdrew from the negotiating table with Newcastle.
