Nice have reportedly joined the race for free agent Andrea Belotti and are trying to close a deal before Roma who must first offload the likes of Eldor Shomurodov and Felix Afena-Gyan.
The Ligue 1 side have made inquires for the Italian striker, reports La Repubblica, and aim to use this window as an opportunity to further strengthen their attack given the Giallorossi’s struggles in thinning out their offensive line.
The Italian newspaper claims that Belotti may soon tire of waiting for the capital club’s green light and, as a result, engage in talks with Nice.
Earlier reports claimed that Belotti’s priority was remain in Italy but as the new season is days away from its official start, the former Torino captain could consider other offers from abroad.
