Roma wide man Nicola Zalewski shared his thoughts two days after the Giallorossi’s heartbreaking defeat in Budapest.

The Polish international addressed the lasting feeling of disappointment which will haunt Roma for a while.

“These are nights you’ve been dreaming of since you were little, since you kicked your first ball, hoping one day to be able to represent the team in your city, ROMA,” Zalewski wrote on Instagram.

“Reaching the final after a journey across Europe that once again proved the love of our people is something that each of us will remember forever.”

“Losing a final hurts a lot, for those who were on the pitch, for those who were in the stands, for those who were at home. It is a pain that will remain, a clearly visible scar. But with the love that binds us we will restart together. Forza Roma!”
