Homegrown talent Nicola Zalewski was able to score his first goal for the Giallorossi in their recent defeat to Sassuolo at the Stadio Olimpico.
In an emotional Instagram post, Zalewski expressed his gratitude to the club and rallied the team ahead of a crucial return leg with Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday night.
“I dreamed of this emotion since the first time I wore the cleats and this shirt,” wrote the Polish international.
“This was my first goal in Serie A with Roma. Unfortunately the match didn’t go as we had hoped. But we will get back up. Let’s focus on Thursday and always FORZA ROMA!”
