Roma fullback Nicola Zalewski joined Jose Mourinho in today’s pre-match press conference where the two discussed the challenges awaiting Roma in tomorrow night’s crucial Europa League affair with Helsinki.
“Regarding the match against Napoli, we are lucky to play on Thursday to forget Sunday’s defeat, which came undeservedly. The game was conditioned by episodes, which Napoli managed to exploit in their favour.”
“As a team, we need to create more. However, I am happy with what we are doing: it’s already an accomplishment we you put the attackers in a position to score.”
“The year started in an unfortunate way for me, with some physical problems that kept me sidelined for a while. I have fully recovered and I am ready for tomorrow,” he concluded. “Playing on artificial pitch is like a different sport, and we knew about the weather beforehand, so we’ll make the most of it.”
“We’ll do everything we can to win and bring home the three points,” added the Polish international.
