Roma fullback Nicola Zalewski was asked about the Giallorossi’s late reaction to equalize and obtain a precious point at San Siro earlier tonight.
“We did well to stay in the game despite the adversity, we believed in getting a result,” Zalewski told DAZN after the final whistle.
“At the end of the first half we knew that every opportunity was good to equalise. Having players like Dybala and Pellegrini is an extra weapon for us when it comes to set pieces.”
“We always step on the field to win. Tonight Milan’s second goal served as a wake up call. Our mentality is to always fight for every ball. That’s what helped us stay in the game and fight until the very end.”
