Roma fullback Nicola Zalewski is set to respond to Fabrizio Corona’s accusations of his presumed involvement in illegal betting activities.
In a note released by Zalewski’s legal team (lawyers Paolo Rodella and Federico Olivo) to ANSA, the player announced he is preparing a lawsuit against Corona for damaging his image and reputation.
“Our client excludes any, even minimal, involvement. He has given us a mandate to act in every way against all those who have damaged his name, his image and his reputation,” reads the statement.
On Thursday, Roma released a message of support to Zalewski and El Shaarawy – both of whom have been accused of involvement in the latest illegal betting scandal.
