Nicola Zalewski on Conference League semifinal: “We know we can go all the way.”

Roma midfielder Nicola Zalewski, one of the main driving forces of Mourinho’s team in recent weeks and author of the assist for Lorenzo Pellegrini’s goal vs Leicester, spoke to Sky Sport following the final whistle at King Power Stadium.

“I’m satisfied of my own performance and my teammates’,” said the Polish international. “We played a great game, but we must improve under many aspects.”

“We have an important match on Sunday and then next Thursday, we’ll give our all in both games. We know we can go all the way.”

When asked about his new role on the left flank, Zalewski said, “There are moments where I make some defensive mistakes, but my teammates are always ready to back me up with a word of encouragement if it happens.”
