Roma wide man Nicola Zalewski did not get off to a good start this season.
In fact, the Polish fullback struggled for the majority of last season as well, failing to score or provide an assist in Roma’s entire 22/23 campaign.
His bright, explosive start in Mourinho’s first year at the club now seems to be a distant memory.
Over the last few games, Zalewski was mostly kept on the bench in favor of Leonardo Spinazzola starting – his last start in Serie A was over a month ago against Milan.
However, Il Messaggero reports that Jose Mourinho is ready to give the 21-year-old another chance in Thursday night’s Europa League fixture with Servette.
He will replace Spinazzola in Roma’s line-up as the Italian winger is set to be rested.
