Turkish giants Galatasaray have officially opened talks for out-of-favor Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo.
The 23-year-old has been removed from Mourinho’s squad following his recent transfer request and is now being excluded from all team activities until the end of the season.
In the meantime, Galatasaray have approached Roma and inquired about Zaniolo as their transfer window is still open. The two clubs are discussing the terms of a deal, reports Fabrizio Romano of Sky Sport.
Given the prospect of being sent to the stands for the remainder of the season, Zaniolo is reportedly willing to consider Turkey as his next destination.
