Nicolo Zaniolo declares: “I never lacked respect to any club.”

Former Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo was asked about the turbulent changes in his career that took place within the last year.

After experiencing a major falling out with the capital club’s fans and management, Zaniolo turned down an offer from Bournemouth and joined Galatasaray instead only to leave Turkey a few months later and sign with Aston Villa.

“I don’t think I’ve ever stopped growing,” Zaniolo told Tuttomercatoweb following Italy’s victory over Ukraine at San Siro stadium in Milan.

“I always do what the coach asks of me and I always make myself available. Many times I’ve been labeled by the media as a person who doesn’t show respect, but that’s not the case. I never lacked respect to any club.”

“I always make myself available and it has always been like this in all the teams I have played in. I am really happy with this match and I don’t feel like talking about anything else at the moment.”
