Roma attacker Nicolò Zaniolo gave an update on his recovery from a torn ACL today when he made an appearance on the social platform Clubhouse.
The young Italian is currently recovering from a second ruptured ACL, which he suffered in early September. Roma have been very careful with the youngster’s recovery after he ruptured both ACL’s in each of his knees last year.
However, Zaniolo has been adamant about his intent to be ready in time for this summer’s European championship.
“I’ll return to full capacity in April,” revealed Zaniolo. ”I still need to train for another month, though.”
The youngster was then asked about his most exciting goals with the Giallorossi, who he joined from Inter in 2018.
“I’d say that that the double I scored against Casillas in the Champions League versus Porto.”
