Nicolo Zaniolo has boarded the flight to Istanbul from Milan as he is set to permanently part ways with Roma, penning a long-term deal with Galatasaray.
The capital club are finalizing the last details of a deal that will see the player collect €3.5 million per year after handing a transfer request earlier in January and dismissing offers from the Premier League.
After holding out too long, Zaniolo was convinced to accept Galatasaray’s proposal as the Turkish transfer window closes tomorrow evening.
Before taking off to Istanbul, Zaniolo mimicked on Instagram Jose Mourinho’s photos from last summer where the Portuguese manager crossed his legs, often indicating an impending radical change in the club’s transfer plans.
