The future of Nicolò Zaniolo remains uncertain despite the 22/23 campaign being one month away.
The 22-year-old attacker – who has been at the center of numerous rumours linking him with a move to Juventus – is now reportedly nearing a contract renewal with Roma.
The capital club do not intend to force Zaniolo out of Trigoria and – considering their demands for him haven’t been met by the Bianconeri – are now intent on discussing a renewal after the transfer window closes, reports Corriere dello Sport.
Roma are set to meet with the player’s entourage in September and discuss extending his contract with an additional salary bump.
Zaniolo could reportedly go from earning €2.5 million to €4.5 million per season.
