RomaPress – Roma are on edge as they await the results of Nicolo Zaniolo’s knee scans following the injury he suffered tonight versus Juve.
The 22 year-old came off after twenty-six minutes after he incurred a knock to his knee—the same knee in which he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
He is scheduled to undergo scans in the coming hours, but multiple sources at Roma have informed RomaPress that the club fears it could be a sprained knee. Though, the club’s medical staff believes that all of the major ligaments are undamaged.
However, this can’t be confirmed until the results from an MRI are known. But given Zaniolo’s extensive history with knee injuries, the Giallorossi are sitting on the edge of their seats.
