Roma have recovered two important pieces for tonight’s league fixture with Empoli at the Carlo Castellani stadium: Nicolo Zaniolo and Tammy Abraham travelled with the team to Tuscany on Sunday afternoon.
As reported in today’s edition of Corriere della Sera, Abraham is probable to start after nursing a strong shoulder contusion suffered in the loss to Udinese which forced him to forfeit the EL match with Ludogorets on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Nicolo Zaniolo will not be risked unnecessarily. The 23-year-old will start from the bench and the hope is to not have to rely on him mid-game.
The player wants to be available for the big match with Atalanta on September 18th, which is when he is expected to start for the first time since going down with a dislocated shoulder two weeks ago with Cremonese.
