His loan at Roma is winding to an end and the latest report by calciomercato.com suggests there’s no chance of the capital club extending the defender’s loan from Turin.
The Italian news portal claims Juventus want him back at all costs ahead of the new season and for the time being they are not willing to consider parting ways once more with the 19-year-old.
There is Borussia Dortmund’s existing interest, although no offers have been made so far.
Roma seem to have pulled out of the race for Huijsen and will focus on other transfer targets instead.
