No contact between Roma-Chelsea for Jorginho

Whispers emerged earlier this week that Roma have opened talks for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, however, Sky Sport has reported this evening that the two clubs have had no contact regarding the Brazilian-born, Italian international.

The Giallorossi have been linked with a potential summer move for the former Napoli star, who lost his starting place under Frank Lampard this season.

With the European championship taking place next summer, Jorginho could look to move on from the London side in the search of more consistent playing time to ensure he’s called-up by Roberto Mancini.

The 28 year-old made 31 league appearances for the Blues this past season and earned 4 goals and 2 assists.
