No Curva Sud for the Derby

Now it’s official.

Roma’s most fiery section of fans, the Curva Sud, have announced they will not attend this weekend’s Derby against Lazio as they will continue their protest of the barriers put in place in the section. Despite the appeals of Totti, De Rossi, and Florenzi, their protest will continue.

The group announced, “Though we’ll be away from our home in the stands, the Curva Sud, the Derby will always be a match unlike the others. We will meet at ‘L’Academy Qualcio Roma’ where we will cheer and watch in front of a giant screen. Aside from the result on the field one thing is certain: we have already won! Those who choose not to attend the Derby in order to be consistent with their principles ever loses! Go forth Curva Sud, we’ll win this battle! ROMA.”
