AS Roma’s preseason for the 2020/2021 campaign is officially ready to begin.
Il Tempo has reported that the remaining COVID-19 tests of Roma’s players, which they took earlier this morning, have all come back negative — meaning Paulo Fonseca and his staff can commence preparations for the team’s upcoming season.
Four of the Giallorossi’s players tested positive for the dangerous virus in recent weeks – Antonio Mirante, Carles Pèrez, Bruno Peres, and Justin Kluivert – and there was fear that the team would have to further delay the beginning of their preseason.
At 19.00 CET this evening, the Giallorossi will have their first training session of their new season on the pitch at their training center, Trigoria.
