Nothing concrete regarding Dzeko-Atletico Madrid rumor

RomaPress – Edin Dzeko’s move to Juventus fell apart after Roma faced problems from Napoli, who were unwilling to give Arek Milik the final “OK” to join the Giallorossi.

Because of the delays on the part of the Partenopei, the Bianconeri closed a deal for Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, who landed in Turin late last night.

With a move to Juventus now out of the question, the representatives of the Bosnian have confirmed to RomaPress that the striker has no intention of leaving the Italian capital despite whispers suggesting that Spanish side Atletico Madrid are interested in his services.

Given Dzeko’s stay in the Italian capital, it will now be vital that he and Roma manager Paulo Fonseca mend their relationship after the two clashed a number of times in recent months — both publicly and privately.

Nonetheless, the 34 year-old is ready to give his full commitment to the Giallorossi and is ready to wear the captain’s armband on Sunday against Juventus.
