Nottingham Forest are in pursuit of Roma midfielder Edoardo Bove who is close to leaving his boyhood club.

The 22-year-old is likely to depart the Italian capital after not seeing any playing time in the first two games of the season.

Daniele De Rossi’s decision to abstain from relying on Bove could be related to the player’s status on the market.

More specifically, Bove is being targeted by Nottingham Forest who have advanced a first bid.

According to calciomercato.it, the Premier League side would be willing to agree on a deal worth 12 million euros.

The two clubs have intensified talks in recent hours with the aim of reaching an agreement soon.
