Nottingham Forest have reportedly made the first step toward signing Roma defender Roger Ibanez.
According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, Roma have just received a formal bid from Nottingham for Ibanez worth €25 million.
The capital club are considering this proposal, although their asking price is €30 million.
However, the newspaper reports that the difference is minimal and therefore an agreement could soon be reached, allowing Ibanez to move to the Premier League.
