Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi was interviewed today by beIN Sports. These are his words:
“Roma? I needed another challenge. This allows me to progress individually. I like challenges, complicated things, because it’s not necessarily easy to change clubs and countries. It was nice for me to change environment. It was difficult when I arrived in England. And at the beginning it was difficult in Spain. And here in Rome, it’s another challenge – I needed it. After spending many good years at Sevilla, I felt it was more than time for me to change environment. When Roma’s interest arrived, I did not hesitate. It’s a great club that plays in big competitions, so it was really good for me”.
