Nzonzi looks set for Galatasaray exit: “I want to leave”.


Steven Nzonzi’s adventure in Turkey appears to effectively be over. The Frenchman, who joined the Istanbul-based side on loan from Roma this past summer, spoke to Turkish outlet fotospor.com about is situation with the club after he was suspended due to unprofessional behavior.

“I don’t have to apologise to anyone, I didn’t do anything. But now it’s enough, I want to leave,” he said.

Nzonzi hasn’t played for Gala since their 5-0 loss to PSG in early December. The midfielder has been suspended by the club after refusing to finish a training session with the rest of his team. With interest in England, France and Spain — Nzonzi appears likely to leave for a new club in the coming weeks.
