Nzonzi rejects three-year contract from Qatar

Steven Nzonzi, along with Federico Fazio, continues to wage war on Roma. The 32-year-old midfielder has so far rejected every single offer that has arrived at his doorstep.

According to Sky Sport, an exit for the Frenchman is looking increasingly unlikely with each passing day. Nzonzi has reportedly rejected a number of offers: a three-year deal with Benfica, two bids from the Championship and La Liga as well as Saudi Arabia.

The latest offer the player has rejected is a three-year contract from Qatar from a few days ago. The rumored salary was higher than the current €3 million he makes at Roma until the summer of 2022.

With the transfer window nearing final stages, the likelihood of seeing Nzonzi leave the club is very low.
