Steven Nzonzi is nearing an eventual last minute exit from Roma before all transfer windows close on September 30th.
According to Sky Sport, the French midfielder flew in to Qatar earlier today to meet with Al Rayyan, a club that has had considerable interest in the player for the past few months.
The deal is still not completed as Nzonzi along with his father have yet to discuss Al Rayyan’s offer.
The French international has still one year left on his contract with Roma. In case the player were to depart the club later this month, Roma would save over €6 million gross in wages.
