Roma midfielder Steven Nzonzi was interviewed today by Bein Sports and discussed the current season as well as his future. These are his words:
Has the change between Ranieri and Di Francesco had a positive effect?
With Ranieri we work well, especially physically. We work a lot with the ball and it is something that has done us good both mentally and physically. It’s going very well.
The schedule for Roma during this finale of the season is taxing.
There is no excuse, we will have to win. Being the most mentally prepared as we can will make the difference.
Can you explain Roma’s difficulties this season?
All seasons are complicated. Not so if in the previous seasons the team won everything. We’ll take stock at the end of the season, there are still matches left that can make a difference. I don’t know if this was a year of transition, but we will have to give our maximum in every match.
The media in Italy talks about you leaving at the end of the season.
I don’t read or listen to what people say or where they say I should go. I’m focused on Roma right now, we’ll see what the future holds.
